Development and Application of Industry 4.0 in Transportation (I4T) Research group
About Our Research Group
The Development and Application of Industry 4.0 in Transportation group (I4T) is a research collective from the University of Transport Technology, comprising 29 members. Our research focuses on the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, and Nanotechnology to enhance material performance, structural analysis, and intelligent traffic management. To realize these goals, our work focuses on the following areas.
1. AI & Digitalization in Engineering: Applying Explainable AI (XAI), Machine Learning, and simulation tools to predict material properties and forecast the mechanical performance and durability of concrete, steel, and composite structure.
2. Advanced & Sustainable Materials: Developing high-performance materials including nano-modified asphalt, graphene-enhanced composites, and eco-friendly solutions like geopolymers and recycled concrete.
3. Smart Transportation & IoT: Implementing Internet of Things (IoT) and microcontroller-based systems for structural health monitoring, traffic management, and environmental emission forecasting.
4. Digital Construction Management: Utilizing automation and data-driven approaches for quality control, project monitoring, and the optimization of construction processes.
