University of Transport Technology Holds Political Education Conference and Congratulates New Party Members
On 30 September 2026, in Hanoi, the University of Transport Technology (UTT) held a Political Education Conference and a ceremony to congratulate new Party members, towards the 65th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s visit to the University (29 November 1961 - 29 November 2026). The programme aimed to congratulate the new Party members while contributing to strengthening political awareness, ideals and a sense of responsibility among the University’s Youth Union members and students.

Overview of the Conference
Attending the programme was Dr. Le Doan Hop - former Member of the Party Central Committee and former Minister of Information and Communications. Representing the University were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Ngoc Khiem - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Permanent Vice Rector; members of the Board of Rectors and the Party Committee; leaders of University units; Secretaries of Student Party Cells; representatives of the Youth Union and Students’ Association; and a large number of Youth Union members and outstanding students.

At the Conference, the University congratulated 50 new Party members admitted during the second admission period of 2026. These students had demonstrated strong performance in their studies and personal development, scientific research, Youth Union and Students’ Association activities, and other University movements, and had been monitored, fostered and admitted to the Party by their respective Party cells.

Speaking at the Conference, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Ngoc Khiem - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Permanent Vice Rector congratulated the new Party members and assigned them responsibilities, encouraging them to continue demonstrating a pioneering and exemplary spirit in their studies, personal development and work. He emphasised that becoming a member of the Party is both an honour and a responsibility, requiring each Party member to continuously cultivate themselves, strive for improvement and personal growth.

An important part of the Conference was the thematic session “Goals and Ideals of Youth Union Members and Students in National Construction and Development, Associated with the Goal of Building and Developing the Party’s Reliable Reserve Force”, presented by Dr. Le Doan Hop. The session focused on providing information, knowledge and practical experience, contributing to strengthening political awareness, ethics, determination and aspirations for advancement among Youth Union members and outstanding students - a core force in the University’s Party member development activities.

The Conference also provided time for Youth Union members and students to share their thoughts, concerns, aspirations and proposals related to their studies, personal development and efforts for self-improvement, thereby enhancing their awareness of the role and responsibilities of young people within the University and society.
The Conference contributed to strengthening political and ideological education and Party member development among students of the University of Transport Technology. It also provided motivation for new Party members, Youth Union members and outstanding students to continue improving themselves, uphold a strong sense of responsibility, and make continued efforts in their studies and the University’s collective activities.
