University of Transport Technology Signs Cooperation Agreement with Goertek Vietnam
On 02 October 2026, the University of Transport Technology (UTT) held a cooperation agreement signing ceremony with Goertek Vietnam, marking a new development in the relationship between the University and the enterprise, with the aim of strengthening the connection between education and practice and creating more opportunities for students to gain exposure to a modern technology and manufacturing environment.
Attending the programme on behalf of the University were Dr. Nguyen Van Lam - Vice Rector; Dr. Ngo Quoc Trinh - Head of the Academic Affairs Office; M.A. Ta The Anh - Head of the Office of Testing and Education Quality Assurance; Dr. Le Chi Luan - Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology; together with representatives of relevant units. Representing Goertek Vietnam were Mr. Nguyen Dinh Duong - Director of the Human Resources Management Centre; Mr. Tran Thanh Tuan - Head of the Training Department; Mr. Nguyen Van Linh - University Cooperation Officer; and Ms. Duong Thi Thu Thuy - University Cooperation Officer.

Overview of the programme
Goertek is a global technology corporation focusing on the research, development and manufacturing of precision components, smart hardware devices and high-tech manufacturing systems. In Vietnam, Goertek currently has operations in Bac Ninh and Nghe An. The company also places emphasis on developing cooperation models between enterprises and educational institutions to prepare human resources for the technology and smart manufacturing sectors.
Speaking at the programme, Dr. Nguyen Van Lam - Vice Rector of the University of Transport Technology emphasised the role of university-enterprise cooperation in connecting education with practice. The University currently offers a wide range of engineering and technology programmes; among them, the Faculty of Information Technology provides specialised fields such as electronics and telecommunications, computer networks and related areas, which are aligned with the enterprise’s human resource needs.

In recent years, Goertek and the University of Transport Technology have carried out various exchange and connection activities. This provides a foundation for the two sides to further expand their relationship, bringing the practical needs of the enterprise closer to the University’s education process and students’ career orientation.
The representative of Goertek Vietnam expressed the company’s desire to continue working closely with the University in the education and development of technical human resources, while strengthening activities that help students gain a better understanding of the working environment, technologies and professional requirements of the enterprise.

Within the framework of the programme, representatives of the leadership of the two organisations participated in the cooperation agreement signing ceremony. Under the Memorandum of Understanding, the two sides agreed to leverage their strengths in facilities, teaching staff and resources for education; strengthen lecturer exchanges; coordinate in developing curricula and enhancing professional skills. The two sides will also implement joint student training programmes based on the enterprise’s needs; organise learning activities, visits and practical experiences; and provide internship, employment and recruitment opportunities for the University’s students and alumni. In addition, Goertek may provide scholarships, equipment and tools to support educational activities.
