VNUR (Vietnam’s University Ranking) is a national ranking system developed by an independent group of experts to provide an objective and comprehensive assessment of higher-education institutions in Vietnam. In 2025, VNUR reviewed 237 universities nationwide, collecting and processing large-scale data from reputable sources including public reports, admission proposals, domestic and international accreditation databases, major global rankings (QS, THE, ARWU), the SCOPUS and Web of Science systems, patents and research outputs from the Ministry of Science and Technology, journals indexed by the National Professor Council, and licensed electronic resources. Based on this dataset, 198 universities with sufficient information were evaluated and ranked in 2025.

VNUR 2025 applies an assessment methodology basing on 6 standards and 18 criteria, fully reflecting the three core missions of a university: education, research, and community service. The system is registered with the International Ranking Expert Group (IREG) and is listed among 67 nationally recognized ranking systems worldwide.

UTT’s placement among the leading institutions in engineering is a clear testament to the University's well-defined development strategy and its commitment to application-oriented training. From curriculum reform and strengthened industry partnerships to significant investment in modern facilities and the promotion of research activities, every effort has been directed toward the goal of cultivating high-quality technical human resources equipped for global integration and capable of meeting contemporary societal demands.

This outstanding achievement is not only a source of pride for the entire UTT community but also a driving force for the University to continue affirming its pioneering role in digital transformation, innovation, and the advancement of higher education toward applied, industry-linked development.
