UTT Welcomes K77 Freshmen on Enrollment Day

On August 22, 2026, the University of Transport Technology (UTT) was filled with excitement as it welcomed K77 freshmen and their families for enrollment, officially marking the beginning of a new journey of learning, personal development, and growth at UTT.

Despite the rainy weather, large numbers of freshmen and their parents arrived at the University early in the morning. The excitement mixed with a touch of nervousness on the students’ faces, parents’ heartfelt words of advice, and the warm welcome from lecturers, staff, and student volunteers created an emotional and welcoming atmosphere on K77’s very first day at UTT.

To ensure a quick and convenient enrollment process, following students’ confirmation of enrollment on the Ministry of Education and Training’s system, the University continued to promote the use of technology and digitalization throughout its enrollment procedures. Before the on-campus enrollment day, freshmen had already completed most required procedures, personal information declarations, and necessary documents through the University’s online enrollment system.

As a result, upon arriving at the University for in-person enrollment, freshmen only needed to attend their assigned session and classroom as announced, meet their academic advisors, submit the required documents, sign the enrollment list for confirmation, and receive essential information about their classes and study plans. Reception areas were arranged by class, with guidance and support from staff, lecturers, and student volunteers, helping freshmen complete the procedures quickly, reduce waiting time, and become familiar with their new learning environment.

More than simply a day for completing enrollment procedures, K77 Enrollment Day also offered a wide range of engaging activities and experiences. On their very first day at UTT, freshmen had the opportunity to experience virtual reality (VR) technology, enjoy musical performances, learn about student clubs and teams, and explore the campus, lecture halls, learning spaces, and facilities available to students.

Among these activities, the VR experience area attracted considerable interest from both freshmen and their families. These exciting new experiences not only brought enthusiasm to the day but also gave students an initial impression of a learning environment closely connected with technology, innovation, and digital transformation.

Another highlight particularly enjoyed by freshmen was the Photobooth area, featuring youthful and modern photo settings. Many students, despite meeting for the first time, quickly became acquainted and invited one another to take photos together, capturing memorable moments that marked the beginning of new friendships at university. Alongside the excitement and happiness of the freshmen were the watchful eyes, heartfelt advice, trust, and expectations of their families as the students embarked on the journey ahead.

The University’s careful preparations, together with the dedicated support of staff, lecturers, and student volunteers, contributed to creating positive and memorable impressions on Enrollment Day, helping freshmen feel more confident and giving parents greater peace of mind as their children begin their studies at UTT.

August 22 came to an end, but it also marked the official beginning of a new journey. From the slightly unfamiliar faces seen on their first day at the University, K77 freshmen will gradually become acquainted with their lecturers, classmates, and university-level learning methods while taking part in academic activities, scientific research, innovation, cultural and sports activities, and student movements.

Each freshman will follow their own path, with their own goals and dreams, but they all share the same memorable starting point – the first day they officially became UTT students.
