UTT and Bentley Systems Sign MoU to Strengthen Cooperation in Education and Technology

On 10 September 2026, the University of Transport Technology (UTT) and Bentley Systems officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), laying the foundation for cooperation between the two sides in education, training, and technology.

Attending the meeting, on behalf of Bentley Systems was Mr. Zeljko Djuretic, Senior Director – Education; on behalf of the University were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Ngoc Khiem – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Permanent Vice Rector of the University; Dr. Tran Ngoc Hung – Director of the Institute of Railway Technology and Urban Transport, concurrently in charge of the Faculty of Civil Engineering; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Van Quan – Deputy Director of the Institute of International Education and Cooperation. The Institute of International Education and Cooperation served as the focal point for establishing connections and coordinating with Bentley Systems and the University’s specialized units in preparing the areas of cooperation.

At the meeting, Mr. Zeljko Djuretic shared information on Bentley Systems’ educational programs and initiatives, as well as its experience in cooperating with educational institutions; he also discussed potential cooperation models that could be explored and implemented in line with UTT’s practical needs.

Representatives of UTT and Bentley Systems discussed priority areas and a roadmap for implementing cooperation in the coming period. The discussions focused on expanding opportunities for students and lecturers to access Bentley’s technologies, platforms, and practical expertise; promoting training, research, academic exchange, and professional capacity development aligned with the practical needs of the transport, construction, and modern infrastructure development sectors.

At the meeting, representatives of the leadership of the two sides signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the University of Transport Technology and Bentley Systems. The MoU provides a basis for the two sides to strengthen coordination, gradually concretize the areas discussed, and implement cooperative activities in training, research, and technology application.

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding marks an important milestone, providing a foundation for UTT and Bentley Systems to strengthen connections between the University and the technology industry. Through this cooperation, UTT students and lecturers will have greater opportunities to access technology, knowledge, and practical experience to support their learning, teaching, and scientific research activities.

Based on the signed Memorandum of Understanding, UTT and Bentley Systems will gradually implement practical cooperation programs and activities, with a view to building a long-term and effective partnership; thereby contributing to improving the quality of education and training, strengthening international connections, and developing high-quality human resources to serve the transport, construction, and infrastructure development sectors in the new period.
