Exciting Activities and Hands-on Experiences at the Vietnam–Korea Technology Exhibition 2026
On 27 October 2026, the University of Transport Technology (UTT) hosted the exhibition “Promising Technologies Connecting Vietnam–Korea Science and Technology Enterprises 2026”. Held as part of the forum “Vietnam–Korea D-Global: Connecting Promising Technologies and Science and Technology Enterprises”, the exhibition aimed to showcase technological products and solutions while strengthening collaboration among government authorities, universities and enterprises in research, education, technology transfer and human resource development.
The exhibition featured 14 booths showcasing technological models, products and projects developed by UTT and Vietnamese and South Korean enterprises. The exhibition space was divided into areas dedicated to the University's research products, technologies from South Korean enterprises, and networking and exchanges among participating organisations.
The event attracted a large number of UTT staff, lecturers and students, together with experts, scientists and business representatives, who came to explore and experience the technological products and solutions on display.

At UTT's exhibition area, two products attracted particular attention: the Smart UAV Docking Station developed by the UAV and Low-Altitude Transport Club, and an autonomous parcel delivery robot designed for a smart university environment by the Robotics and Automation research group.
The Smart UAV Docking Station was developed to support precision UAV landing, automated battery charging and remote mission management. Meanwhile, the autonomous robot was designed for internal delivery services, with potential applications in a smart university environment. At the booths, visitors could observe the products in operation and engage directly with the research teams to learn about their operating principles and potential applications.

Alongside the University's research products, South Korean enterprises presented a range of solutions in emerging technological fields, including 5G/6G O-RAN communications infrastructure, on-premises AI servers, smart factory platforms and AI infrastructure for autonomous manufacturing. Participating enterprises included NexWill, AMPLAB, ANR and All in Carbon.
Through the exhibition booths, lecturers, students and business representatives had opportunities to interact directly with experts and explore the practical applications of emerging technologies in manufacturing and everyday life. For students, the event also provided valuable exposure to the business environment, workforce requirements and new development trends in AI, robotics, automation, intelligent transportation and smart manufacturing.

Beyond serving as a technology showcase, the exhibition enabled UTT research groups to introduce their products to enterprises, gain insights into practical market needs and explore opportunities for joint development, testing and application. At the same time, Vietnamese and South Korean enterprises had opportunities to connect with young talent, research teams and innovative technological ideas developed at the University.
Through these activities, the tripartite collaboration model involving government authorities, universities and enterprises was further put into practice. This created additional opportunities to align research outcomes with business needs, promote technology transfer, develop human resources and expand scientific and technological cooperation between Vietnam and South Korea.
