Final Round of the “UTT Spaces Up 2026 – Creating Spaces” Competition
On the morning of 18 June 2026, the Final Round of the “UTT Spaces Up 2026 – Creating Spaces” Competition was held at the University of Transport Technology (UTT), marking the conclusion of an exciting journey in which participating teams presented creative, practical, and distinctly UTT-inspired design ideas.
With the theme “Designing a Special Architectural Space at the Lobby of Building A8”, the six outstanding teams presented their design proposals before the Jury Panel, demonstrating modern architectural thinking, creativity, and fresh perspectives on developing learning, networking, and experiential spaces for students.
Attending the event were Dr. Nguyen Van Lam – Vice Rector of the University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Thi Thanh Huong – Head of the Office of Science, Technology and International Cooperation; Dr. Ngo Quoc Trinh – Head of the Academic Affairs Office; Dr. Tran Trung Hieu – Head of the Office of Training Management and Capital Construction; Dr. Phung Ba Thang – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Tuan Anh – Head of the Department of Civil and Industrial Construction and Head of the Construction Engineering Technology Program; together with experts in architecture and interior design, lecturers of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, representatives of sponsors and partners, and a large number of students.

At the opening ceremony of the Final Round, Dr. Nguyen Van Lam – Vice Rector of the University and Head of the Organizing Committee, acknowledged the efforts of the participating teams throughout the competition and expressed his hope that the outstanding ideas presented would contribute to enriching the learning and creative spaces for UTT students in the future.

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee also presented appreciation gifts to sponsors and partners for their support and contributions to the success of the competition.

Following the presentation and defense sessions, the Jury selected the most outstanding projects for the awards. The final results were as follows:
- First Prize: Team MODEL MASTER with the project “Convergence of Knowledge – Flow of the Future”.
- Second Prize: Team ECO BUILDERS with the project “Building a Green Future”.
- Third Prize: Team HÃY XEM VÀ KHEN with the project “UTT – Connecting Knowledge, Reaching the World”.
- Encouragement Prizes: Teams UP TO TOP, TỬ ĐINH HƯƠNG, and XÂY DỰNG 21.
In addition, MODEL MASTER also received the “Most Favorite Idea” award through online voting by students and the community.

More than just a professional competition, UTT Spaces Up 2026 served as an academic playground that enabled students to develop their creativity, design skills, and teamwork abilities, while also providing opportunities for practical architectural ideas to be proposed, refined, and potentially applied within the university environment.
The success of the competition was made possible through the support and collaboration of sponsors, partners, lecturers, and participating students, contributing to a memorable UTT Spaces Up 2026 season and spreading the spirit of creativity and innovation throughout the University's student community.
