MOU Signing Ceremony between AGC Asia Pacific Pte., Ltd. and the University of Transport Technology

On January 21st 2015, Mr. Takashi Iketani – Executive Director of Strategic Planning & Business Development Division, AGC Asia Pacific Pte., Ltd and Mr. Sadayuki Nomura – Division Director had a meeting with the University of Transport Technology (UTT) about the cooperation opportunities in scientific researching and technology transfering. From UTT were Dr. Vu Ngoc Khiem - Vice Rector, Dr. Ngo Quoc Trinh - Head of Department of Science, Technology and International Cooperation, associate professors, doctors and researchers and lecturers in the field of material of the Faculty of Civil Engineering.

AGC Asia Pacific Pte., Ltd. is a global solutions provider with proven expertise in glass, chemicals and ceramics technologies. Therefore, the company technologies are appropriate for UTT lecturers to conduct researches in adtopting of these technologies in Vietnam civil construction.

At the end of the meeting, both sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding on comprehensive cooperation in scientific research and technology transfer in the field of Civil Engineering.
Mr. Takashi Iketani thanked Dr. Vu Ngoc Khiem about the warmly welcome and confirmed he would actively promote the cooperation between the Company and the University for the soon cooperation in adopting company technologies in Vietnam.
