MOU Signing Ceremony between the University of Transport Technology and Parul University (India)

On January 20th 2016, University of Transport Technology organized a meeting with Parul University on cooperation in training and scientific researching. Attending the meeting were Mr. Colin Roberts – Director of International Relations Cell from Parul University, Mr. Amardeep K Barnwal – Attache for Culture and Education from Indian Embassy in Hanoi. From UTT were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Van Dong - Rector, Dr. Vu Ngoc Khiem - Vice Rector, Dr. Ngo Quoc Trinh - Head of Department of Science, Technology and International Cooperation and Deans of Faculty of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Information Technology and Faculty of Economics.  

Parul University is a multidisciplinary hub of 22 self financed institutions with more than 25000 students and more than 100 programs at diploma, graduate and post graduate and doctoral levels. Parul University is the only university in Gujarat to have more than 300 full time international students from 26 different countries of Africa, Gulf, Europe and South East Asia.

At the end of the meeting, two universities signed a Memorandum of Understanding on comprehensive cooperation in training and scientific researching in the field of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Economics and Information Technology.

Mr. Colin Roberts thanked Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Van Dong about the warmly welcome and confirmed he would actively promote the cooperation between two universities for sending students from UTT to attend the course at Parul University next year.
