MOU Signing Ceremony between the University of Transport Technology and the Université de Valenciennes et du Hainaut-Cambrésis, France

On November 22nd 2014, Dr. Fabrice Guizard – Vice President in charge of International Relations and Dr. Le Thi Muoi – representative in charge of International Relations in Vietnam from the Université de Valenciennes et du Hainaut-Cambrésis had a meeting at the University of Transport Technology (UTT) about the opportunities for cooperation in education, scientific research and technology transfer.

From UTT were Dr. Do Ngoc Vien - Rector, Dr. Vu Ngoc Khiem - Vice Rector, Dr. Ngo Quoc Trinh - Head of Department of Science, Technology and International Cooperation, and the lecturers who had studied in France.

University of Valenciennes is a multi-disciplinary University in the city of Valenciennes, France. The University’s training follows technological practice-based orientation which are similar UTT, so appropriate for student exchange between the two universities.

At the end of the meeting, two universities signed a Memorandum of Understanding on comprehensive cooperation in training and scientific research between the two universitiess in the field of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Economics and Information Technology.
Dr. Fabrice Guizard thanked Dr. Do Ngoc Vien about the warmly welcome and confirmed he would actively promote the cooperation between two universities for sending students from UTT to attend the course at Université de Valenciennes et du Hainaut-Cambrésis next year. At the same time, Dr. Muoi will also coordinate with UTT to develop training programs in French for students.
