UTT Signs Cooperation Agreement with 911 Group Joint Stock Company, Promoting Practice-Oriented Training

On April 14, at the University of Transport Technology (UTT), a cooperation agreement signing ceremony was held with 911 Group Joint Stock Company, marking a new step in strengthening the linkage between the University and enterprises in training, scientific research, and human resource development in the fields of Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration.

Attending the signing ceremony, on behalf of 911 Group Joint Stock Company were Mr. Nguyễn Mạnh Hải – Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Nghiêm Đức Thuấn – Deputy General Director; and Ms. Nguyễn Thị Thu Huệ – Deputy General Director. On behalf of UTT were Dr. Trần Thanh An – Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyễn Quang Anh – Director of the Institute of Automotive and Power Machinery Engineering; Dr. Chu Thị Bích Hạnh – Dean of the Faculty of Management, along with representatives of relevant units.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Trần Thanh An emphasized that cooperation between universities and enterprises is a key factor in improving the quality of application-oriented training, enabling students to access real working environments at an early stage. UTT consistently prioritizes expanding partnerships with reputable enterprises, particularly in its key disciplines such as mechanical engineering, technology, and business administration, thereby contributing to the training of high-quality human resources that meet labor market demands.

From the enterprise side, Mr. Nguyễn Mạnh Hải expressed his expectation that the cooperation between 911 Group and UTT will help develop a high-quality workforce capable of meeting practical production and business requirements. The company also expressed its desire to accompany the University in training, research, and the application of science and technology.

According to the agreement, the two sides will cooperate comprehensively in areas including: student training and development; scientific research and technology transfer; organization of seminars and professional workshops; and recruitment linkage. UTT students will have opportunities to visit, undertake field trips, experience real working environments, and participate in in-depth internship programs at 911 Group lasting up to approximately 200 days. During these internships, students will directly engage in relevant professional activities, thereby enhancing their professional skills and gaining practical experience.

In addition, 911 Group will coordinate in organizing career counseling activities, as well as regular training in soft skills and professional skills; and will consider awarding scholarships to students with strong academic performance and difficult circumstances. Both sides will also promote the implementation of scientific research tasks and technology transfer, gradually bringing research outcomes into practical application in production and business activities.

In 2026, a number of specific activities will be implemented, including: career orientation programs for third-year students; factory and construction site visits; student internship placements; and joint organization of professional seminars and exchanges on science and technology issues between lecturers and enterprises.

The cooperation agreement is valid for a period of three years and will be automatically renewed unless terminated by either party in writing. This serves as an important foundation for both sides to implement long-term, sustainable, and effective cooperation activities.
