UTT signs cooperation agreement with Tongji University (China) in training and research on high-speed railways

On June 10, 2025, the delegation of the University of Transport Technology led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoang Long - Rector of the University visited and worked with a number of universities in China, aiming to expand cooperation in the fields of training and scientific research, especially in the field of high-speed railways.

On the first working day, the delegation visited and worked with Tongji University - one of the seven national key universities in China. The school is currently ranked 19th among the top universities in China and in the top 200 universities in the world. In the field of high-speed railways, Tongji University is considered one of the leading training and research institutions, with a system of national key experimental centers specializing in the construction of railway infrastructure, stations, vehicles and operations.

At the meeting, the two sides exchanged and signed a cooperation agreement between the Institute of High-Speed ​​Railways - Tongji University and the High-Speed ​​Railway Center - University of Transport Technology. The agreement focuses on cooperation in training, exchange of lecturers and students, scientific research and international publications, contributing to promoting sustainable and effective development in the field of high-speed railways in Vietnam.
