UTT Welcomes and Works with the Delegation of the Construction and Building Materials Industry Trade Union of Belarus
On the afternoon of November 14, 2025, the University of Transport Technology (UTT) formally welcomed and held a working session with the Delegation of the Construction and Building Materials Industry Trade Union of Belarus as part of their visit and experience-sharing program in Vietnam. The program, hosted by the Trade Union of UTT, took place in a warm, open atmosphere, fostering strengthened connections and cooperation between the trade union organizations of the two countries.
Overview of the working session
Welcoming the Belarusian delegation were Mr. Vũ Ngọc Khiêm – Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of the University Council; Ms. Lê Thu Sao – Chairwoman of the University Trade Union; Ms. Lưu Thị Thu Hà – Vice Chairwoman of the University Trade Union; together with representatives of relevant units of the University. Representing the Vietnam Construction Trade Union were Mr. Nguyễn Thanh Tùng – Vice President; and Mr. Phùng Quang Huy – Deputy Head of the Trade Union Affairs Division, who attended and accompanied the working session.
The Belarusian Trade Union Delegation included: Mr. Prosviryakov Dmitry Aleksandrovich – Chairman of the Construction and Building Materials Industry Trade Union of Belarus; Mr. Berozovik Alexander Stanislavovich – Chairman of the Trade Union of MAPID Joint-Stock Company; Mr. Sazanovets Alexander Anatolyevich – Chairman of the Construction and Building Materials Trade Union of Minsk City; Mr. Funt Dmitry Vasilyevich – Chairman of the Trade Union of Grodnozhilstroy Joint-Stock Company; and Mr. Yaroshevich Andrey Arkadyevich – Chairman of the Construction and Building Materials Trade Union of the Grodno Region.
The official working session took place at Meeting Room T3 – H3. Representatives of the University Trade Union, the Vietnam Construction Trade Union, and the Belarusian delegation exchanged information on organizational structures, models of trade union activities, welfare policies, support for union members, movement activities, and methods of coordination between trade unions and educational institutions and enterprises in the current context. UTT also presented an overview of its history, development orientation, key training and research fields, particularly its increasingly modern learning environment and facilities that meet integration and development requirements.
In the spirit of friendship and cooperation, the parties exchanged souvenirs, expressing mutual respect and the desire to expand exchanges and experience-sharing activities in the coming time. Following the working session, the Belarusian delegation toured UTT’s facilities, including office buildings, classrooms, laboratories, practice areas, training camps, and other functional spaces. The delegation highly appreciated the strong development of UTT as well as its efforts to build a modern educational environment closely aligned with the human-resource training needs of the transport and construction sectors.

The visit and communication between the Trade Union of the University of Transport Technology and the Belarusian Trade Union Delegation hold significant meaning in enhancing international cooperation, contributing to improving trade union activities and expanding opportunities for sharing models and practices related to member welfare. It also served as an occasion for the University to promote its image and training–research capacity to international partners, in line with its strategy for integration and development in the new period.
