I. GENERAL INTRODUCTION

The Master's program in Transportation Construction Engineering at the University of Transport Technology is designed with a training duration of 1.5 years (60 credits), focusing on a practical application orientation. The program's objective is to train high-quality human resources capable of effectively applying scientific and technological advancements to the design, construction, and management of modern transportation infrastructure.

In-depth Knowledge and Skills: The program provides learners with a modern knowledge foundation, delving into four main specializations: (1) Highway Construction Engineering Technology; (2) Bridge and Tunnel; (3) Bridge and Road; and (4) Railway.

Regarding Knowledge: Learners are equipped with in-depth knowledge of technical standards, construction regulations, and emerging technologies such as green infrastructure, Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), Building Information Modeling (BIM), advanced materials, and digital transformation. Notably, the program integrates interdisciplinary knowledge of data science and artificial intelligence to solve engineering problems.

Regarding Skills: Learners will develop skills in analysis, synthesis, and complex technical problem-solving within real-world environments. The program emphasizes cultivating the ability to propose technical solutions, conduct experiments, and apply modern simulation software, as well as leadership and specialized foreign language skills (reaching Level 4/6) to work in international integration environments.

Career Opportunities Post-Graduation: With the equipped foundation of knowledge and skills, Masters of Transportation Construction Engineering can assume key positions at diverse organizations:State management agencies: Specialists at the Ministry of Construction, Project Management Boards, etc.; Consulting, design, and supervision units: Taking on roles as road design engineers, independent technical consultants, or construction supervisors; Construction enterprises: Holding managerial positions such as Project Director, Site Commander, or Technical Manager; Training and research institutions: Becoming lecturers, researchers, quality assurance experts, or technology transfer officers at universities and research institutes.
