II. PROGRAM STRUCTURE AND TEACHING PLAN
The Doctoral training program requires a minimum total study load ranging from 90 credits to 120 credits, depending on the candidate's admission profile. Candidates are classified into the following admission categories:
a) Category A1: Candidates holding a Master's degree in a major identical to the Doctoral major (Economic Management).
This category is not required to take supplementary courses.
b) Category A2: Candidates holding a Master's degree in a major relevant to the Doctoral major (Economic Management).
This category is required to take 6 credits of supplementary courses (selected from the Master's training curriculum).
c) Category A3: Candidates holding a Bachelor's degree (with a total study load of less than 150 credits) classified as Good standing or higher in an identical or relevant major, OR candidates holding an equivalent qualification corresponding to Level 7 of the Vietnam National Qualifications Framework (with a minimum total study load of 150 credits) in an identical or relevant major to the Doctoral major (Economic Management).
This category is required to take 31 credits of supplementary courses (selected from the Master's training curriculum). Candidates admitted with an equivalent qualification at Level 7 of the Vietnam National Qualifications Framework may transfer credits for courses previously studied that correspond to the supplementary knowledge block (subject to review and approval by the Scientific Council).
The assessment of the major's suitability (as either identical or relevant) is conducted by referencing the applicant's previously completed program of study.
