I. GENERAL INTRODUCTION
Knowledge:
The program provides doctoral candidates with an advanced scientific theoretical foundation to solve complex problems arising from practical construction activities and the developmental needs of the construction industry, including:
- Structures with special functions, usage conditions, or exposure to special effects.
- Special loads acting on structures and theoretical/experimental methods for determining such loads (e.g., waves, wind, high-intensity earthquakes).
- Behavior of materials and structures under short-term dynamic loads; analytical methods for structures subjected to special loads.
- Construction technology and engineering of special structures.
- Determination of service life and reliability of special structures.
Skills:
