Applying Technology and AI and Enhancing Scientific Publication Capacity for PhD Students
Recently, the Faculty of Business Administration, University of Transport Technology (UTT) organised a seminar on “Applying Technology and AI in Scientific Research” for PhD students in Business Administration. The programme provided practical guidance on using technology in research and preparing scientific publications for domestic and international journals.

At the seminar, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan The Cong – Thuongmai University introduced ways to apply digital technologies and AI tools at different stages of the research process, from literature searches, model development and research design to data analysis and academic writing support. The session was tailored to the research characteristics of Business Administration, providing PhD students with additional approaches to using technological tools to improve the effectiveness of their doctoral research.
In the session on the process and methods of writing papers for scientific publication, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Thuy Duong – University of Transport Technology guided PhD students on how to prepare, finalise and submit manuscripts to JSTT in particular, as well as to domestic and international scientific journals in general. Topics including selecting appropriate journals, developing article structure, meeting academic requirements, the peer-review process and manuscript revision helped PhD students gain a clearer understanding of the steps involved in developing research findings into scientific papers..jpg)
In addition to the two thematic sessions, the programme provided an opportunity for PhD students to meet and exchange views on research topics and methodologies, as well as share experiences throughout their research journey. The open academic environment helped strengthen connections, encourage learning and promote mutual support during the process of completing their doctoral dissertations.

Through the seminar, the Faculty of Business Administration aims to support PhD students in proactively updating their research tools and methodologies and enhancing their scientific publication skills, gradually developing valuable and high-quality research.
