After progressing through the selection rounds at the University of Transport Technology, four teams – QP2T, LOGIX, THE 2006S and CHAD – successfully advanced to the University-level Final Round. In the Final Round, the teams competed in two sections: Project Presentation and Logistics Case Debate.

In the Project Presentation section, the teams presented ideas and solutions developed from practical issues in logistics and supply chain operations, focusing on topics such as risk management in cross-border logistics, the application of technology in last-mile delivery, complaint handling and green logistics development. Following their presentations, the teams answered questions directly from the Judging Panel, thereby demonstrating the creativity, feasibility and potential applicability of their solutions.

The Logistics Case Debate that followed featured lively discussions on practical issues such as choosing between drones and electric vehicles for last-mile delivery, and between Just in Time (JIT) and Just in Case (JIC) strategies in supply chain management. Through presentations, questioning and debate, the teams demonstrated their professional knowledge, logical thinking, adaptability, persuasive skills and teamwork.

A meaningful highlight of the programme was the “Exchange – Spreading Logistics Knowledge” session, featuring Dr. Bui Manh Cuong’s sharing on the books “Smart and Green Logistics in the Digital Economy” and “Digital Economy”. Drawing on his research and teaching experience, Dr. Bui Manh Cuong shared with students perspectives on smart logistics, green logistics and the transformation of the logistics industry in the context of the digital economy.

Beyond professional knowledge, the exchange session also promoted a spirit of learning and research, as well as the transfer of knowledge across generations. The lecturer’s dedication to research, continuous efforts to keep pace with new developments in the industry, and commitment to sharing knowledge provided inspiration for generations of students, particularly young contestants who are gradually developing professional thinking, an innovative mindset and aspirations to contribute to the development of the logistics sector.

At the conclusion of the competition, QP2T won First Prize with the project “AGRILOGIX Model for Identifying and Assessing Partner Risks for Exporters in Cross-border Logistics Transactions involving Agricultural Products”. LOGIX won Second Prize; THE 2006S received Third Prize; and CHAD received the Consolation Prize. Team QP2T consists of students Nguyen Minh Quan, Nguyen Minh Phuong, Nguyen Hoai Trang and Dinh Minh Thu.

Based on their achievement in the University-level selection round, the University will appoint a supervising lecturer and the four members of team QP2T to continue participating in the next rounds of Vietnam Young Logistics Talents 2026. QP2T will represent the University of Transport Technology in the Semi-final Round of Vietnam Young Logistics Talents 2026, competing against teams from educational institutions across the country. According to the Organising Committee’s schedule, the Semi-final Round will be held in the Northern and Southern regions, through which outstanding teams will be selected for the National Final Round.

The competition not only provides students with an opportunity to apply their knowledge to solving practical problems, but also helps them develop research, presentation, critical thinking, problem-solving and teamwork skills. Through VYLT 2026, the University of Transport Technology continues to affirm its approach of linking education with practice, scientific research and innovation, contributing to the development of high-quality logistics human resources capable of adapting to the requirements of digital transformation and sustainable development.
