UTT Youth Report Achievements to President Ho Chi Minh and Honorably Join the Communist Party of Vietnam

On the morning of May 23, at the historic Ba Dinh Square, in the presence of the revered spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, the Party Committee of the University of Transport Technology (UTT) solemnly organized a Ceremony to Report Achievements to President Ho Chi Minh and Admit New Party Members for 11 outstanding individuals, who are Youth Union members and students of the University. This meaningful political activity contributed to educating students about revolutionary traditions, fostering ideals, strengthening faith, and enhancing young people's sense of responsibility toward the cause of national construction and defense.

Attending the ceremony were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Ngoc Khiem, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Standing Vice Rector of the University; representatives of University leadership; Secretaries of student Party cells; members of the Standing Committee of the University Youth Union; Secretaries of affiliated Youth Union chapters; together with numerous exemplary Youth Union members and students.

Delegates from the University of Transport Technology participated in the Ceremony to Report Achievements to President Ho Chi Minh and the Party Admission Ceremony at the historic Ba Dinh Square.

In the solemn atmosphere at Ba Dinh Square, 11 outstanding individuals were honored to receive the Decision on Admission to the Communist Party of Vietnam, officially becoming members of the Party. Before the Party flag, the National Flag, and the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, the newly admitted Party members took their oath, expressing their determination to continuously study and improve themselves, uphold moral integrity, and demonstrate the pioneering and exemplary qualities expected of young Party members.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Ngoc Khiem, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Standing Vice Rector, presented the Party admission decisions to the outstanding individuals.

The newly admitted Party members took their oath before the Party flag, the National Flag, and the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh.

Following the ceremony, UTT youth solemnly conducted the Achievement Reporting Ceremony to President Ho Chi Minh. In this sacred moment before his spirit, the delegation, comprising outstanding staff members, lecturers, and students of the University, respectfully reported the University's remarkable achievements in learning, scientific research, innovation, volunteer activities, and Party-building efforts among students.

Mr. Phung Cong Dung, Secretary of the University Youth Union, conducted the Achievement Reporting Ceremony to President Ho Chi Minh.

Inspired by President Ho Chi Minh's teachings to the younger generation, UTT Youth Union members and students have consistently demonstrated pioneering spirit and creativity in learning, research, and community service. Volunteer campaigns such as "Green Summer," "Exam Season Support," "Volunteer Spring," "Blood Donation Campaigns," "Volunteer Saturdays," and "Green Sundays" have been widely implemented, attracting large numbers of students and promoting a strong sense of social responsibility and community engagement.

Student scientific research and innovation activities have continued to flourish. During the 2024–2025 academic year, the University completed the evaluation of 145 student research projects, while approximately 325 projects were registered for implementation in the 2025–2026 academic year. Numerous academic competitions, innovation and entrepreneurship programs, digital transformation forums, and professional seminars have been regularly organized, creating an environment that encourages students to develop research capabilities, innovative thinking, and the practical application of knowledge.

Alongside educational activities, the University has organized various scientific conferences, academic programs, and initiatives promoting research collaboration and technology transfer. Notably, the University of Transport Technology has been assigned to lead the Network of Centers of Excellence and Talent Development in Advanced and Smart Transportation Technology and Infrastructure, contributing to enhanced cooperation among educational institutions, research organizations, and enterprises in transportation technology.

In 2026, UTT was ranked 26th in the Vietnam University Rankings (VNUR), rising 18 positions compared to 2025. This achievement reflects the University's significant progress in education and training, scientific research, international cooperation, and community service, while marking important milestones in UTT's journey toward improving the quality of higher education.

In addition, ideological and political education, as well as Party development among students, have consistently received close attention and direction from the University's Party Committee. Activities such as studying Party resolutions, political education programs themed "UTT Youth Studying and Following Ho Chi Minh's Ideology, Morality, and Lifestyle," and competitions on knowledge of the Party, Ho Chi Minh Thought, and Marxism-Leninism have been extensively implemented. These initiatives contribute to nurturing revolutionary ideals and developing generations of students who are both morally upright and professionally competent, possessing strong political determination and aspirations to contribute to society.

Following the ceremony, the delegation paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his Mausoleum and visited the Presidential Palace Historical Site and the Ho Chi Minh Museum. This meaningful activity contributed to educating participants about revolutionary traditions and fostering patriotism, revolutionary ideals, and a sense of responsibility among young people toward the nation's development in the new era.

Before the revered spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, the youth of the University of Transport Technology pledged to continue studying and following his ideology, morality, and lifestyle; to continuously cultivate both virtue and talent; and to uphold a spirit of innovation and leadership, contributing to the University's continued development and to the nation's industrialization and modernization efforts.
