University of Transport Technology (UTT) Signs Cooperation Agreement with Vietnam Register
On the afternoon of December 26, the University of Transport Technology (UTT) and the Vietnam Register officially signed a cooperation agreement to jointly organize training courses, internship programs, and personnel recruitment initiatives, as well as to support the sharing of materials, machinery, and equipment for education and scientific research purposes.
Attending the signing ceremony on behalf of the University of Transport Technology were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vũ Ngọc Khiêm – Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Hoàng Long – Rector; along with members of the University’s executive board and representatives of affiliated departments. Representing the Vietnam Register were Mr. Nguyễn Chiến Thắng – Director General, together with the leadership team and representatives from its professional divisions. This cooperation is part of the implementation of the directives issued by the Ministry of Transport on proactively strengthening the human resources in the vehicle inspection sector, ensuring the effective and uninterrupted provision of services to meet public demand.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Hoàng Long – Rector of UTT, and Mr. Nguyễn Chiến Thắng – Director General of the Vietnam Register, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective institutions.
Speaking at the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Hoàng Long emphasized that this partnership forms part of the University's broader strategy to expand collaboration with domestic and international partners. It aims to promote and enhance the quality of education, scientific research, and technology transfer in close association with enterprises and the practical needs of society. This approach is in line with the University’s mission, vision, and educational philosophy: "Application – Practical Learning – Practical Careers."
According to the agreement, the University of Transport Technology and the Vietnam Register will cooperate in several key areas, including human resource training, personnel recruitment, and research and technology transfer.
Both parties will jointly propose and implement plans to organize specialized training courses, internships, field trips, annual workshops, scientific seminars, knowledge-sharing sessions, and hands-on experience programs. In addition, the Vietnam Register will provide support in terms of equipment and facilities for practical training and experimentation. The two institutions will also cooperate in research activities and coordinate recruitment campaigns, aiming to introduce UTT students to career opportunities at the Vietnam Register.
The two sides have committed to effectively utilizing available resources (financial, human, time, equipment, etc.) to ensure the successful implementation of the cooperation agreement. Furthermore, both parties will organize annual review meetings to assess the results, draw lessons, and develop the collaboration plan for the following year.
