Dr. Tran Ha Thanh - Vice President of UTT, speaking at the meeting

On the business side, Mr. Miyamoto Osamu introduced the operations and development orientation of Asean Cars Business Joint Stock Company. This Japanese enterprise maintains close partnerships with renowned automobile brands such as Honda, Toyota, and Mitsubishi, recruiting sales staff and, in particular, mechanics, primarily in the field of automotive maintenance.

Mr. Miyamoto Osamu, General Director of Asean Cars Business Joint Stock Company (Japan), expressed his desire to collaborate with the UTT.

Given the high demand for human resources in the automotive sector due to Japan’s aging population, Mr. Osamu expressed his desire to collaborate with UTT in receiving young, enthusiastic, dynamic, and well-trained students for internships and employment, thereby creating a bridge between Vietnam’s young workforce and the Japanese labor market.

Under the program, UTT students will have the opportunity to participate in a six-month professional internship at Japanese automotive companies. During this period, students will receive training to enhance their professional skills, Japanese language proficiency, and knowledge of labor safety and automotive maintenance techniques. The companies will also provide vocational certificates, creating favorable conditions for students to return to Japan for employment after graduation.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties agreed on coordination points to implement the next steps, aiming toward signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The event opened up numerous practical opportunities for UTT students in the process of international integration and career development.
