About Our Research Group
The Resilience & Innovative Materials for Smart Infrastructure group (RIMAS) is one of the research groups from the University of Transport Technology. The group is dedicated to advancing a new generation of infrastructure systems that is capable of withstanding the growing environmental, economical and technological demands. Our research focuses on the high-performance, sustainable, multifunctional materials as well as the resilience and longevity of the structures. We aim to develop adaptive materials and structural solutions for sustainable, intelligent infrastructure, investigating from fundamental research to real-world validation and long-term performance monitoring.
