Workshop on “Sharing experiences and skills in international scientific publication in prestigious ISI indexed journals”

On December 26th, 2018, GEOAI Strong Research Group in corporation with Geotechnical Division - Faculty of Civil Engineering organized a workshop on “ Sharing experiences and skills in international scientific publication in prestigious ISI indexed journals” with the aim of developing an academic exchanging forum, promoting scientific research activities among lecturers and researchers, as well as sharing experiences and skills in publishing qualified scientific works in prestigious ISI indexed journals.

Tran Nguyen Hai - speaker and lecturer from Duy Tan University and UTT lecturers and researchers as well as lecturers and researchers from other universities.

PhD Pham Thai Binh - Head of Organizer team shared his experience and skills in research and writing articles

At their speeches, the speakers shared their real and interesting experiences in researching, writing and sending articles to scientific journals and responding to the feedbacks. Specifically, the seminar featured the following contents: Distinguish journals/ publishers in/ out of ISI catalog; Distinguish scientific journals ranks/ types in the ISI catalog; Skills in searching for relevant and reliable scientific documents;

Procedures of sending and publishing the articles in prestigious international publishers system; Tips to respond to viewers’ comments; Reasons editors withdraw the published articles; Academic pages of Vietnamese community in the world; Share experiences in writing and publishing ISI journals and participating in reviewing ISI journals.

PhD Tran Nguyen Hair - Lecturer from Duy Tan University shared his experiences in writing and publishing scientific works in prestigious international journals

The workshop is in a series of practical and effective activities to improve scientific research ability in general and ability to publish international journals in particular for UTT staffs and lecturers.
