Talk Show “Career Passport” Marks the Official Launch of the SFA Finance and Accounting Club

On May 27, 2026, the SFA Finance and Accounting Club of the University of Transport Technology (UTT) officially launched its activities through a career orientation talk show entitled "Career Passport", attracting the participation of a large number of students from both within and outside the Faculty.

Attending the programme were Dr. Hoang Thi Hong Le – Dean of the Faculty of Transport Economics; Dr. Pham Quang Dung – Deputy Head of the Training Division; Mr. Phung Cong Dung – Secretary of the Youth Union; Mr. Lai Bao Tan – President of the Student Association, together with representatives of department leaders, lecturers, and numerous students.

The guest speakers included: M.A. Pham Thuy Chi – Producer of educational programmes at VTV7, Career Orientation Consultant, Founder of the Youth Career Guidance Project; M.A. Nguyen Hien Nhung – Master of TESOL with more than 15 years of experience in TOEIC teaching and training; Ms. Do Ngoc Khanh Chi – Director of the General Merchandise and Supermarket Centre, AEON Ha Dong.

Within the framework of the “Career Passport” talk show, the speakers shared various topics related to current career trends, labour market requirements for new graduates, the role of foreign language proficiency, soft skills, as well as adaptability in modern working environments. Drawing from their practical experiences, the speakers also brought valuable career stories and insights into preparing application documents, participating in job interviews, and proactively accumulating knowledge and skills while still at university. These practical and relatable sharing sessions provided students with broader perspectives on preparing for their future careers.

The Q&A session took place in an engaging atmosphere, with many questions raised by students. The speakers directly addressed these questions, shared experiences, and provided practical advice based on the actual demands of the labour market.

The establishment of the SFA Finance and Accounting Club marks the formation of a new academic playground for UTT students. In the coming time, the Club is expected to implement various activities such as thematic seminars, academic competitions, enterprise networking programmes, field visits, and skills development courses to support students in enhancing their professional knowledge and career competencies.

The programme concluded successfully, receiving significant interest and positive responses from students.
