Meeting on cooperation between National Institute of Applied Sciences (INSA) and University of Transport Technology
On October 26th 2015, the Executive General Director - representative of the INSA Group in Vietnam, Mr. Eric A. André and representatives from INSA Rennes and INSA Toulouse visited and worked with University of Transport Technology (UTT). On behalf of UTT were Dr. Vu Ngoc Khiem - Vice Rector, Dr. Ngo Quoc Trinh – Head of Department of Science, Technology and International Cooperation and the lecturers who studied in France.

INSA is the first prestige public science applied institute in France. Founded in 1957 in Lyon, the institute now has five branches located in 5 cities: Strasbourg, Rennes, Rouen, Toulouse and Lyon. INSA has many similarities with UTT in teaching and researching majors, thus is convenient for cooperative study program between UTT and INSA.

Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Vu Ngoc Khiem warmly welcomed the delegation visited the UTT and identified that this is an opportunity for both sides to be able to directly discuss areas of concern. Dr. Vu Ngoc Khiem appreciated the role and prestige of INSA in the training system in France and confirmed that Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering are prioritized training majors of UTT. UTT are willing for cooperation with the INSA group in training, scientific researching and technology transfer.
The Executive General Director, Mr. Eric A. André thanked Dr. Vu Ngoc Khiem for the close meeting and confirmed he will actively promote the cooperation between the INSA in France and UTT in the soonest time.
