Study tours to General Motors Vietnam for Students of automotive engineering

In the framework of cooperation between University of Transport Technology and General Motors Vietnam, from 20 April to 24 April, 2015, the Univeristy in cooperation with the Company organized study tours for hundreds of students of automotive engineering.

During the visit, the students was introduced to the history and development of General Motors in the United States and in Vietnam, as well as the cars currently available on the market such as Chevrolet, Cadillac, GMC, Buick, etc.

Importantly, the students took a tour round the assembling factory and warehouse for automotive parts with the guidance of professional technicians and engineers of the company. As a result, students are equipped with practical knowledge of the process to assemble the new model cars of the company.

At the end of the visit, the sdutents were attracted with the career consultation by GM human resource specialists.  This will help to guide their careers well after graduation.
