UTT Participates in the 2025 Science and Technology Book Exhibition: “Igniting Knowledge, Shaping the Future”
In response to Vietnam Science and Technology Day (18 May), the University of Transport Technology (UTT) participated in the 2025 Science and Technology Book Exhibition themed “Igniting Knowledge, Shaping the Future”, organized by the Department of Information and Statistics (Ministry of Science and Technology) in collaboration with the Publishing House for Science and Technology.
Taking place from 15–17 May 2025 at Level 1, No. 24 Ly Thuong Kiet Street (Hanoi), the exhibition is an annual event chaired by the Ministry of Science and Technology to honor the role of books in fostering scientific thinking, inspiring the passion for discovery, and promoting a reading culture within the community, especially among young people. The event also serves as a bridge connecting the science and technology community with education and training in the process of building a modern, civilized, and digital society.

This year’s exhibition features two main areas. The indoor space is designed into thematic sections that create a continuous journey connecting the past, present, and future of Vietnam’s science and technology, such as: Scientific Milestones in the Journey Toward National Reunification (1945–1975); Achievements of Vietnamese Science 50 Years After Reunification (1975–2025); Digital Transformation – The Journey of Elevating Vietnamese Intelligence (Books, digital databases, technological solutions in Industry 4.0 and AI); Future Science – Connecting the Younger Generation (Technology experience zones, popular science books, AI interactions).
The outdoor area hosts 15–20 booths from publishing units, research institutes, and S&T enterprises, creating an open and engaging environment for visitors to interact and explore - including UTT’s highlighted display booth.

At the exhibition, UTT showcased notable academic publications reflecting research outcomes and innovation in the fields of transportation and technology, including: the CIGOS 2019 International Conference Proceedings; ICIS 2024 Proceedings; the Journal of Science and Technology in Transport (Vietnamese version, ISSN: 2734-9942) and its English version (JSTT, ISSN: 2734-9950). Earlier, on 24 April 2025, UTT held a ceremony to officially announce that the Journal of Science and Technology in Transport had been accepted into the Scopus database.

UTT’s booth attracted a large number of visitors and delegates, demonstrating the scientific and educational community’s strong interest in research and innovation activities in the transportation and technology sectors.

In addition to the exhibition displays, a series of seminars and thematic talks were held, such as: “Unlocking the Digital Knowledge Ecosystem – Creating Breakthroughs in Research”, “AI for Students – Unleashing Potential, Mastering the Future”, along with the introduction of new book series such as “DEEPSEEK – AI for Everyone” and “AI & Coding”.

By participating in the exhibition, UTT aims to contribute to raising public awareness of reading culture and to encourage proactive efforts in seeking, accumulating, and sharing knowledge, particularly in science and technology disciplines. This activity also reflects UTT’s commitment to implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated 22 December 2024 of the Politburo on the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation.
