2023 Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Technical Foundations
On June 23, 2023, the Faculty of Technical Foundations held its annual Scientific Conference, aiming to share experiences, facilitate academic and professional exchanges, introduce new research findings and directions, and promote research, application, and scientific innovation among faculty members in the field of technical foundations.
Attending the conference were Dr. Ngô Quốc Trinh, Head of the Department of Science, Technology, and International Cooperation; Dr. Lê Ngọc Lý, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Technical Foundations; along with lecturers, presenters, and scientists from both within and outside the university.
Overview of the 2023 Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Technical Foundations
Dr. Lê Ngọc Lý emphasized that, alongside specialized teaching, scientific research plays a crucial role in applying studies to real-world practice. Recognizing this importance, faculty members have actively participated in and led numerous institutional, key, and ministerial-level research projects, state-level experimental production projects, the development of national technical standards, and the publication of articles in major domestic and international scientific journals.

During the conference, guest speakers and presenters from the Faculty of Technical Foundations delivered their reports. These presentations aligned with the university’s research orientations, focusing on practical applications in production and teaching. Some reports were also part of ongoing PhD research projects.
Notable topics included:"Research on Filler Particle Size Distribution to Enhance Adhesion and Abrasion Resistance of Thermoplastic Road Marking Paints" by Lê Văn Kiên and Phan Thanh Nhàn. "An Overview of Advanced Concrete Technologies Worldwide" by Nguyễn Thị Thu Ngà, Bùi Thị Phương Hoa, and Đào Thị Hương Giang; etc.
