On the morning of November 2, the University of Transport Technology cooperated with the Hauts-de-France Polytechnic University (France) to organize a seminar on training human resources and connecting logistics infrastructure to serve the development of the railway system: Practical experiences in France and Vietnam. The aim was to exchange and share experiences on human resource training and the connection of logistics infrastructure to support the development of the railway system, creating a forum for exchanging knowledge and international experiences regarding scientific and technological achievements in this field.
Attending the seminar from the Hauts-de-France Polytechnic University were Associate Professor Dr. Lê Thi Mười, in charge of international relations with Vietnam and Asia; and Associate Professor Dr. Abdelghani Bekrar, head of the Master's program in Logistics, who was a speaker at the seminar.
From the Railway College, there was Dr. Trương Trọng Vương, the Principal; and Master Nguyen Manh Cuong, a speaker at the seminar.
Representing the University of Transport Technology were Associate Professor Dr. Nguyễn Hoàng Long, Rector; Dr. Nguyễn Mạnh Hùng, Vice Rector; and Dr. Nguyễn Văn Lâm, Vice Rector.
The seminar also saw the participation of representatives from various agencies, leaders from universities and research institutes, the Vietnam Railway Corporation, sponsors, media agencies, and especially scholars and experts from around the world.

Overview of the Seminar on Training Human Resources and Connecting Logistics Infrastructure to Support the Development of the Railway System: Practical Experiences in France and Vietnam.
Speaking at the seminar, Dr. Nguyễn Mạnh Hùng stated that recently, the school has engaged in numerous collaborative activities with universities and research institutes both domestically and internationally, focusing on training lecturers, student exchanges, scientific research activities, and technology applications. These activities have contributed to enhancing the quality of human resource training and scientific research, supporting the mission of "Leading the Way" for the transport sector and contributing to the socio-economic development of Vietnam.
Dr. Nguyễn Mạnh Hùng emphasized that railways are a specialized field that plays a crucial role in the transportation infrastructure system. It has been identified as one of the three strategic breakthroughs that Vietnam needs to prioritize for investment to develop the economy and society while ensuring national defense and security, adapting to climate change, and promoting sustainable development. To develop a synchronous and modern railway system that meets practical requirements, the quality training of human resources and the construction of logistics connecting infrastructure are of paramount importance.

Dr. Nguyễn Mạnh Hùng - Vice Rector of University of Transport Technology delivered the opening speech at the Workshop
Recognizing this, the University of Transport Technology has collaborated with the Hauts-de-France Polytechnic University to organize the seminar to create a forum for academic exchange and to share experiences in areas related to human resource training and the connection of logistics infrastructure to support the development of Vietnam's railway system.
