Commendation ceremony for excellent students in school year 2015 - 2016

In the morning of Oct 20^th, 2016, University of Transport and Technology has organized the Commendation ceremony for excellent students in school year 2015 - 2016. This was an meaningful activity to celebrate 71^st year anniversary of UTT (29/11/1945 - 29/11/2016).

Attending the Commendation ceremony were Prof. Dr. Dao Van Dong, Rector; Dr.Nguyen Hoang Long, Vice Rector; the representatives from Union and Youth Group; leaders of each department and 200 excellent students of UTT.

This is a meaningful activity that organized annually to encourage ; reward the excellent groups and individuals, the movement of learning in the entire school in school year 2015-2016; students that have poor backgrounds, disabled students; students that are class monitors; students that participated well in school activities

Speaking in the ceremony, Dr.Nguyen Hoang Long, UTT Vice Rector glorified the excellent achievements of all the students. In order to have those achievements, the students had to have a long progress of working hard. He also wished them to continue and try harder, to become factors to encourage the movement of learning in the entire school, especially in the period of when UTT is striving to become one of the National universities of 2020.

UTT has allocated nearly 300 million dong from the Study Encouragement Fund to award scholarships to outstanding students, the valedictorian of K67 and support for students who have difficulties backgrounds but tried hard in learning. On this occasion, the representative of Hoang Ha Company also awarded 02 scholarships worth 6 million for two students of Construction Economics K67.
