Robocon Vietnam 2016's qualifying round opened in the North

On Apr 11st, 2016, Robocon Vietnam 2016's qualifying round officially opened in the North at Tay Ho Stadium, Hanoi attracting 60 Robot teams from many colleges and universities from the North to participate in.

University of Transport Technology has participated in Robocon this year and it’s the fourth consecutive year, with 03 teams: CNGT 01, CNGT 02 and UTT-TNT. With the enthusiasm of youth, all the team members will follow the senior, team up and together get the best result in Robocon 2016.

With the topic "Find the clean energy resources", Robocon 2016 encourages to use replaceable clean energy resources. Robocon Vietnam 2016 attracted 79 participant teams come from 20 Universities, Colleges, Mechanical and Technical High schools from all over the country. Among them, there are some schools have been participating in this contest for over past 14 years.


With 03 teams: CNGT 01, CNGT 02 and UTT-TNT, we hope UTT will come to the Final round.

Mr. Shinjiro Kajikawa – Vice Director of Determining Strategy Dept. of Toyota Vietnam – the main sponsor of the contest - said, the topic “Find the clean energy resources” of Robocon Vietnam 2016 will improve the awareness of community in the exhaustion of fossil energy resources problem in the future, by that it encourages our community to use the energy resources effectively and economizing.  

This is the 15th year of the Creative Robot Vietnam contest (Robocon Vietnam) has been organized.  It attracted 79 participant teams come from 20 Universities, Colleges, Mechanical and Technical High schools from all over the country.

In the South, Robocon Vietnam 2016's qualifying round opens from April 7th to 8th with 19 participant teams. The Final round opens in Ninh Binh in May, 2016.

The Champion team will represent Vietnam to participate in the Creative Robot contest in Asia - Pacific in August in Thailand.
