.                                                   Overview of the program

The program was attended by Dr. Trần Hà Thanh, Vice Rector of the University, leaders of various departments, representatives of the subcommittees of the Student Research Conference, homeroom teachers and academic advisors, supervising lecturers, as well as a large number of students passionate about research from diverse fields.

In his opening speech, Dr. Trần Hà Thanh highly praised and commended the spirit of learning and creative research demonstrated by both faculty and students across the university. During the 2024–2025 academic year, UTT students conducted numerous research projects with diverse and rich content. Many of these projects participated in and achieved outstanding results in major academic competitions, including the BRICS Future Skills and Technology Challenge, the Euréka Student Scientific Research Awards, and others. In addition, academic activities such as scientific seminars, research forums, and the establishment of academic clubs have contributed to creating a dynamic and effective scientific research ecosystem within the University.

Dr. Trần Hà Thanh emphasized that scientific research is a vital path for students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, thereby contributing to the formation of solid professional competencies. The University always regards this as one of the key missions in its educational and training efforts. He expressed the hope that each student will continue to nurture their passion for knowledge exploration, dare to think, dare to act, and persistently pursue their dreams.

Following the opening ceremony, the program proceeded with its main focus: the evaluation and assessment of university-level scientific research projects. This year, 150 outstanding projects were selected from various fields, including Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, Transport Economics, Logistics, Law, and Politics, to enter the review phase. Each student group was allocated 20 minutes to present their research findings and engage directly in discussions with the expert evaluation panel.

Many projects impressed the panel with their innovative approaches, modern scientific thinking, and high application potential, demonstrating the steadily increasing research capabilities of UTT students. This also serves as a clear testament to the practical, quality-oriented education that the University continuously strives to provide.

The Student Research Festival has become an annual event and a distinctive hallmark of the University of Transport Technology, serving as a platform that nurtures and ignites students’ passion for research. It is a place where students are honed in knowledge, skills, and innovative aspirations, preparing them to confidently and competently embark on their professional development journey.

The festival also embodies the implementation of Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee, which clearly identifies the development of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation as decisive factors for national development.
