Functions and Duties of the Institute of Training and International Cooperation
1. Functions
The Institute of Training and International Cooperation is responsible for organizing and implementing training activities assigned by the University; coordinating and managing international training programs; providing study abroad consultancy services; and supporting students in overseas study opportunities in accordance with current regulations. The Institute also assists the University in organizing and implementing international cooperation activities; providing foreign language training; and supporting academic and professional development programs.

2. Duties
a) Training activities
- Organizing and managing joint training programs with international partners at the undergraduate level;
- Implementing student exchange programs, including study abroad, internships, and short-term academic programs;
- Organizing and delivering international joint training programs, high-quality programs, and employer-commissioned training programs;
- Providing foreign language training and test preparation programs;
- Providing study abroad consulting services, supporting students in application procedures, visas, and pre-departure orientation;
- Organizing orientation programs, cultural briefings, and skills training for students prior to overseas study;
- Organizing promotional events, seminars, exhibitions, and information sessions related to international study, internships, and employment opportunities.
b) International cooperation activities
- Participating in the development of long-term strategies and annual plans for international cooperation activities;
- Organizing and implementing approved international cooperation programs and projects;
- Coordinating with relevant units to implement approved international cooperation strategies and plans;
- Managing procedures related to inbound and outbound delegations, including visa applications and official travel documentation;
- Acting as the focal point for liaison and reporting on international cooperation activities with relevant authorities, including the Department of International Cooperation (Ministry of Transport), the Department of International Cooperation (Ministry of Education and Training), and local Departments of Foreign Affairs;
- Managing international students studying at the University and Vietnamese students studying abroad in accordance with applicable regulations.
c) Other assigned duties
- Performing other tasks assigned by the Rector.
