Honoring UTT Students Joining the Google Student Ambassador Community
On March 20, at the University of Transport Technology (UTT), the ceremony to honor Google Student Ambassadors was held, in which 04 UTT students were officially selected among 600 Google Student Ambassadors worldwide. This event was not only an occasion to recognize outstanding individuals but also an opportunity for exchange and networking with KOLs and Google Student Ambassadors in the Northern region. The program attracted the participation of numerous guests, lecturers, scientists, and students.
Attending the event, on the side of the University were Dr. Nguyễn Văn Lâm – Vice Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngô Thị Thanh Hương – Head of the Office of Science, Technology and International Cooperation; Dr. Chu Thị Bích Hạnh – Dean of the Faculty of Management, along with many lecturers, scientists, and students. On the side of the guests were Ms. Hana Tran – Business Director, Co-founder of RSVP Vietnam; speaker Duy Vũ – Industry Manager of Google; and digital content creators Phương Nam and Ninh Tito.
Overview of the event
Speaking at the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngô Thị Thanh Hương emphasized the pivotal role of connecting students with the technology and innovation ecosystem. In the context of rapid digital transformation, equipping students with the capacity to access, master, and apply new technologies, especially artificial intelligence, is an urgent requirement. Through programs such as the Google Student Ambassador and AI workshop series, the University aims to build an academic environment closely linked with practice, promote research, knowledge transfer, and foster the spirit of innovation. At the same time, the University continues to invest in facilities and develop a research ecosystem to create favorable conditions for students’ comprehensive development.

Previously, surpassing nearly 7,000 applications nationwide, 4 UTT students were officially selected among the 600 Google Student Ambassadors (GSA) in Vietnam in 2026: Trần Danh Hiếu – Class 75DCQM23, majoring in Marketing Management; Nguyễn Bá Duy – Class 74DCTT23, majoring in Information Technology; Chu Văn Sơn – Class 76DCDTJ12, majoring in Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering Technology; Phan Trọng Hiện – Class 74DCHT21, majoring in Information Systems.
Google Student Ambassadors (GSA) is a global program organized by Google to connect and develop a network of students capable of disseminating technological knowledge within the community. Ambassadors receive in-depth training, gain early access to new technologies, and directly implement technology application activities in academic environments.
During the GSA 2026 term, UTT students will serve as a bridge between Google and the student community within the University, contributing to promoting access to and application of digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and data tools in learning, research, and practice. This achievement is not only a proud milestone for the honored individuals but also contributes to spreading the image of UTT students as dynamic, proactive in integration, and ready to adapt to new technological trends.

In the afternoon of the same day, the AI Workshop with the theme “Students Mastering AI in Learning and Research” continued in a vibrant and highly interactive atmosphere. The workshop content was designed according to different fields, ensuring high practicality and meeting the diverse learning needs of students.

Specifically, the session for Marketing – Communications – E-commerce focused on applying Gemini in building content funnels based on Inbound Marketing strategies and optimizing conversion rates. The session for Information Technology – Data – Computer Science provided guidance on using Gemini to optimize source code and software testing. Meanwhile, the session for Economics – Management focused on leveraging this tool to support teamwork, academic project management, and improving coordination efficiency.
