UTT – NACENTECH Announce Joint Full-time Faculty Team
On the afternoon of March 27, at the University of Transport Technology (UTT), a ceremony was held to announce the joint full-time faculty team between the University and the National Agency for Science and Technology Entrepreneurship and Commercialization Development (NACENTECH). This marks a concrete step in implementing the strategic cooperation between the two units to promote training, scientific research, and innovation activities.
Attending the program, on the side of NACENTECH were Dr. Phạm Hồng Quất – Director General; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hà Quốc Trung – Deputy Director General; Dr. Nguyễn Đắc Bình Minh – Deputy Director General, along with scientists and experts. On the side of UTT were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vũ Ngọc Khiêm – Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyễn Văn Lâm – Vice Rector, together with representatives of leaders from units and a large number of interested students.
In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vũ Ngọc Khiêm emphasized that in the context of deep globalization, innovation is not only an inevitable trend but also a core driver for enhancing national competitiveness. Accordingly, the close linkage between educational institutions, research organizations, and enterprises serves as the foundation for building a sustainable innovation ecosystem, where knowledge is transformed into practical value.

With the orientation as an application-oriented higher education institution, UTT consistently focuses on training high-quality human resources aligned with labor market demands. In this regard, developing a faculty team—especially joint full-time lecturers with strong expertise, rich practical experience, and international integration capacity—is identified as a breakthrough strategic task. This team not only plays a core role in improving training quality but also serves as an important bridge connecting the University with enterprises, research institutes, and organizations both domestically and internationally.
At the program, a ceremony was held to announce and present employment contracts to 10 joint full-time lecturers from key fields such as information technology, electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, materials science, and biology – biotechnology. The addition of this team is expected to create new momentum for training, research, and technology transfer activities at UTT, while opening up an effective model of practice-oriented academic cooperation.

Immediately afterward, leaders of both units and the lecturers conducted the ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the working space at the Expert & Innovation Building—a shared workspace for knowledge exchange and fostering innovative ideas.

At the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hà Quốc Trung shared orientations for future cooperation, focusing on building shared working spaces, developing training programs aligned with practical needs, and promoting highly applicable innovation projects. At the same time, in his role as one of the joint full-time lecturers, he committed to contributing his expertise and experience to enhancing training quality, scientific research, and the development of the innovation ecosystem at UTT.
