  • Developing an open-source WebGIS system to support management, storage, and dissemination of information on disaster-prone areas;

d) Enclosed Arc Welding (EAW).

The standard applies to new flat-bottom rails with weights ranging from 43 kg/m to 75 kg/m, of identical section and steel grade. It does not specify detailed requirements or test methods for individual welding processes, which are defined in subsequent parts. It excludes welding for crossings, turnouts, signaling joints, rail repair, and safety provisions, and does not define competency requirements for personnel or organizations.

Railway Infrastructure — Non-Destructive Testing on Rails in Track — Part 1: Requirements for Ultrasonic Testing and Evaluation Principles
