The 9th Congress of the Vietnam National Union of Students at the University of Transport Technology, Term 2025–2028
On December 24, 2025, at the Grand Hall of the University of Transport Technology (UTT), the 9th Congress of the Vietnam Student Association of UTT was solemnly held, with the participation of 138 official delegates representing the intellect, aspirations, and enthusiasm of more than 20,000 students of the University.
The Congress marked an important political event, signifying a new phase in the development of student movements and activities at UTT. It reviewed the achievements of the 2023–2025 term and set forth the directions and objectives for the 2025–2028 term under the action motto: “Aspiration to Rise – Intellectual Breakthrough – United for Integration.”

During the first working session, the Congress elected the Presidium and Secretariat, adopted the working agenda and regulations, and discussed the Report reviewing the performance of the 8th Executive Committee.

Mr. Phung Cong Dung – Secretary of the Youth Union of the University of Transport Technology – delivered a speech at the Congress.


Following this, the 9th Executive Committee of the Vietnam Student Association of UTT convened its first meeting, working in a serious, democratic, and responsible manner. The meeting elected key leadership positions, including the President, Vice Presidents, Secretariat, and Inspection Committee. The newly elected leadership represents a generation of dynamic, capable, and dedicated young leaders, embodying high expectations for a dynamic and effective new term.

The second session of the Congress opened with vibrant cultural performances, showcasing the youthful spirit, creativity, and enthusiasm of UTT students, and setting an inspiring atmosphere for the new term.

At this session, the Congress officially announced the results and introduced the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Student Association of UTT for the 2025–2028 term, affirming the continuity and development of the student movement.

The Congress also honored outstanding collectives and individuals for their remarkable achievements in student affairs and youth movements during the 2023–2025 term, recognizing their dedication, creativity, and contributions to academic activities, research, volunteer work, and community engagement.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Ngoc Khiem – Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the University Council – presented certificates of merit to outstanding collectives and individuals.
Representatives of the Hanoi Student Association and the University leadership delivered important speeches, providing strategic direction and expectations for the new term. These remarks served as a guiding framework for further innovation in student activities and comprehensive student development.

With a strong sense of responsibility, unity, and aspiration, the 9th Congress of the Vietnam Student Association of the University of Transport Technology concluded successfully.
The newly elected Executive Committee is expected to uphold the tradition of solidarity, dynamism, and creativity, further advancing the student movement and contributing to the development of a modern, dynamic, and internationally integrated University of Transport Technology.
