UTT Works with Samsung Innovation Campus Representative to Promote Semiconductor Workforce Training

On March 23, the University of Transport Technology (UTT) hosted a reception and working session with a delegation from Letuin High-Tech Vietnam Co., Ltd. – the representative of the Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) program in Vietnam, to discuss high-quality human resource training programs, particularly in the field of semiconductor technology.

The delegation included Mr. Kim Yong Tae – General Director of Letuin Vietnam, along with department leaders and advisors of the company. Receiving and working with the delegation were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Hoàng Long – Rector; Dr. Nguyễn Văn Lâm – Vice Rector, together with representatives of leaders from functional units.

Speaking at the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Hoàng Long – Rector, welcomed the delegation from Letuin High-Tech Vietnam Co., Ltd. and expressed his appreciation for the partner’s professional capacity and experience in implementing training programs, especially in semiconductor technology, one of the key sectors of the high-tech industry today. The University expressed its expectation that the cooperation between the two sides would contribute to promoting high-quality human resource training to meet the growing demands of the market.

At the meeting, both sides discussed orientations for coordinating the implementation of training programs within the framework of Samsung Innovation Campus in Vietnam. Accordingly, the training content focuses on core technologies with high applicability, developed based on the practical needs of Industry 4.0, particularly semiconductor technology. Students participating in the program will combine theoretical learning with practical application through real-world projects.

Notably, the training program within the SIC framework is not limited to students majoring in information technology but is also open to all students interested in and wishing to develop in high-tech fields such as AI (Artificial Intelligence), IoT (Internet of Things), and Big Data. With a flexible learning pathway designed for various target groups, the program enables learners to gradually access foundational knowledge, enhance practical skills through real-world projects, and develop clear career orientations.

Upon completion of the course, students will be awarded a certificate of completion by Samsung Electronics Vietnam, and will have opportunities to participate in internship and recruitment programs at technology enterprises both domestically and internationally, thereby enhancing their competitiveness and ability to integrate into the global labor market.

The working session opened up many practical cooperation opportunities between UTT and Letuin High-Tech Vietnam Co., Ltd., contributing to improving training quality, strengthening the connection between the University and enterprises, and creating favorable conditions for students to access advanced training programs in line with global technology development trends.
