During the session, both sides discussed several directions for future cooperation, focusing on strengthening academic linkages between the university and the research institute. Accordingly, scientists and experts from IEAS may participate in teaching, academic exchange, and research activities at UTT through a flexible joint-appointment mechanism between the two institutions. Expanding the involvement of experts from research institutes is expected to enhance training quality while enabling UTT students and postgraduate learners to access in-depth knowledge and research experience in the fields of economics, politics, and international relations.
In addition, the two sides explored opportunities to collaborate on scientific research projects and programs; organize conferences and academic seminars; and share research outcomes and professional expertise between their scholars. Cooperation in postgraduate training was also highlighted, whereby UTT may support the training and development of IEAS doctoral candidates through teaching, research supervision, and joint academic activities.
