Announcement and Conferment Ceremony of Associate Professor Appointments in 2025

On December 24, 2025, the University of Transport Technology (UTT) solemnly held the Announcement and Conferment Ceremony of Associate Professor Appointments for 2025. The ceremony took place in a dignified and warm atmosphere, providing an opportunity for faculty members and staff to reflect on the achievements in education, scientific research, and academic staff development of the University.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof., Dr. Nguyễn Hoàng Long – Rector of the University, extended his congratulations to the lecturers appointed to the title of Associate Professor in 2025, while expressing his sincere appreciation for their contributions throughout their service at the University. The Rector emphasized that the title of Associate Professor not only reflects professional achievements at a particular moment, but also represents a long-term commitment to the academic profession, with responsibility in teaching, scientific research, and contributions to the overall development of the University. The appointed lecturers are all actively involved in teaching, supervising undergraduate students, master’s students, and doctoral candidates, and have made significant contributions to professional activities, research, and the development of the academic environment at the University of Transport Technology.

Dr. Dương Thị Ngọc Thu – Head of the Personnel Department – announced the Decision on the Appointment of the Academic Title of Associate Professor for six lecturers in 2025

In addition, the Rector highlighted that along with the honor comes new expectations and responsibilities for the newly appointed Associate Professors. In the coming period, the University will continue to invest in facilities, working conditions, and research infrastructure, while gradually improving mechanisms and policies to create a favorable environment for lecturers to focus on teaching, research, and professional development. This will serve as an important foundation for the University of Transport Technology to have more lecturers meeting the standards for the Associate Professor title, thereby meeting the requirements for improving the quality of education and research in the next stage.

At the ceremony, Dr. Dương Thị Ngọc Thu – Head of the Personnel Organization Department, announced the Decision on the Appointment of the Associate Professor title in 2025 for six (06) lecturers. On behalf of the University’s leadership, Assoc. Prof., Dr. Nguyễn Hoàng Long – Rector presented the appointment decisions and offered congratulatory flowers, recognizing the efforts and contributions of the newly appointed Associate Professors.

In 2025, the University of Transport Technology has six (06) lecturers who met the standards for the Associate Professor title across various fields of education and research. Specifically: Assoc. Prof., Dr. Ngô Thị Thanh Hương met the standards for Associate Professor in Transportation Engineering, specializing in Foundation Engineering; Assoc. Prof., Dr. Nguyễn Thị Thu Ngà met the standards for Associate Professor in Transportation Engineering, specializing in Materials; Assoc. Prof., Dr. Tạ Tuấn Hưng was recognized as Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Automotive Engineering; Assoc. Prof., Dr. Phan Thùy Dương and Assoc. Prof., Dr. Trần Thế Tuân met the standards for Associate Professor in Economics, specializing in Finance – Banking and International Economics, respectively; Assoc. Prof., Dr. Hồ Sĩ Lành met the standards for Associate Professor in Civil Engineering, specializing in Construction Engineering.
