Graduation Ceremony for Doctoral, Master’s, Engineer and Bachelor’s Degrees in 2025

On the morning of 24 December 2025, the University of Transport Technology (UTT) solemnly held the Graduation Ceremony for Doctoral, Master’s, Engineer and Bachelor’s Degrees in 2025 in a dignified, warm and emotional atmosphere. The ceremony marked an important milestone, closing a journey of study, research and personal development, while opening new chapters in the graduates’ professional and life careers.

From early morning, the campus was more vibrant than usual. Dressed in graduation gowns, doctoral candidates, postgraduate learners and students gathered together with their families, relatives and lecturers—those who had accompanied, supported and shared their journey throughout the years of study. The ceremony atmosphere was both formal and intimate, interweaving joy, pride and deeply felt emotions.

Delivering his address at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof., Dr. Nguyễn Hoàng Long – Rector of UTT, extended his congratulations to the new Doctors, Masters, Engineers and Bachelors, while acknowledging their academic, research and training achievements during their time at the University of Transport Technology. He emphasized that the graduation ceremony is not only the completion of an academic program, but also a moment for each individual to prepare a solid mindset to continue learning and working with professional responsibility and a spirit of lifelong learning.

At the ceremony, Assoc. Prof., Dr. Nguyễn Hoàng Long also reviewed the University’s notable achievements in recent years. Accordingly, UTT has continued to enhance the quality of education across all levels, promote scientific research, increase international publications, and expand domestic and international cooperation. The year 2025 marked several significant milestones, including the recognition of the University’s Journal of Transport Science and Technology in the Scopus database; investment in modern laboratories and research centers; and the commissioning of the 11-storey multifunctional building, ITS Laboratory, BIM–AI Laboratory, 3-storey Guest House, along with specialized learning and research spaces. These achievements provide a strong foundation for building a modern university environment, enabling lecturers and learners to maximize their professional capacity, creativity and research potential.

At the ceremony, Dr. Ngô Quốc Trinh – Head of the Academic Affairs Office announced the Decisions recognizing academic degrees and awarding Doctoral degrees to 04 doctoral candidates of the 2022 cohort; the Decisions recognizing graduation and awarding Master’s degrees to 60 postgraduate students of cohorts 7, 8, and 9; and the Decisions recognizing graduation and awarding full-time undergraduate degrees to 1,673 students across disciplines. At the same time, Decisions on commendations and awards were presented to students who achieved excellent academic results throughout their programs.

Within the framework of the program, representatives of the University leadership directly awarded Doctoral degrees to doctoral candidates who had successfully defended their dissertations; awarded Master’s degrees to postgraduate students; and awarded Engineer and Bachelor degrees to students of Faculties and Institutes. Each degree conferred represents the result of a rigorous academic journey, the accumulation of knowledge, skills, and experience through many hours of study, research, practice, and real-world engagement.

Applause echoed throughout the hall not only for those being honored, but also as a gesture of shared encouragement for the efforts behind each achievement. Moments of stepping onto the stage to receive degrees, respectful bows in gratitude to lecturers, and radiant smiles mixed with emotional glances from students and their families created meaningful and memorable images of the ceremony.

The Graduation Ceremony 2025 concluded in a solemn yet warm atmosphere. Holding their degrees in hand, the new Doctors, Masters, Engineers, and Bachelors of the University of Transport Technology officially embark on a new chapter, carrying with them knowledge, skills, and cherished memories of their time studying under the UTT roof.
