UTT Students Achieve Impressive Results at the 2026 National Mathematics Olympiad
From April 6 to April 11, 2026, the 32nd National Student Mathematics Olympiad was held at Quy Nhon University, attracting a large number of students from universities and academies nationwide.
Organized by the Vietnam Mathematical Society, the competition is a prestigious annual academic event, providing a platform for students to exchange knowledge, learn, and challenge themselves in two categories: Algebra and Calculus.
This year, the competition brought together approximately 660 students from 90 educational institutions. According to the Organizing Committee, the exam questions were highly challenging, requiring not only solid knowledge but also flexible and creative thinking. At the end of the competition, 306 official prizes were awarded, in addition to Encouragement Prizes.
Under the guidance of lecturers Hoàng Thị Cẩm Thạch and Vũ Xuân Nhâm from the Faculty of Applied Sciences, the UTT Mathematics Olympiad Team achieved outstanding results with 5 medals and 1 Encouragement Prize.

These results not only recognize the efforts of the students in the team but also reflect the effective guidance and support of the lecturers. At the same time, they further affirm the training quality of the University and contribute to spreading the spirit of learning and scientific research among UTT students.
The 33rd National Mathematics Olympiad for Students and Pupils is scheduled to be held in 2027 at Quang Nam University. With the achievements obtained, it is expected that the UTT Mathematics Olympiad Team will continue to promote its academic spirit, strive for excellence, and achieve even greater success in the future.
