I. GENERAL INTRODUCTION

The undergraduate program in Construction Management is developed with an application-oriented approach, aiming to train engineers with comprehensive professional knowledge that meets the practical demands of the construction and investment sector in the context of socio-economic development and digital transformation. The program equips learners with a solid foundation in mathematics, basic sciences, and information technology, along with fundamental and advanced knowledge in construction engineering, construction economics, project management, construction organization, construction finance, legal frameworks, and state management in construction.

In addition to specialized knowledge, the program emphasizes the development of essential professional skills, including construction investment project planning and management; cost, schedule, quality, occupational safety, and environmental management; construction organization and site operation; construction cost estimating, pricing, and bidding; and effective use of industry-specific software. Learners are also trained in independent and teamwork skills, communication and negotiation skills, systems thinking, and the application of foreign languages and information technology in professional practice. The program further fosters a professional working style, responsibility, professional ethics, self-learning capacity, and innovative thinking to meet the requirements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Upon graduation, Construction Management engineers may undertake positions such as project management engineers, construction management engineers, cost engineers, and site engineers at construction enterprises; specialists at project management units and state agencies responsible for construction administration; consultants in bidding, project preparation, and appraisal; or staff at research institutes and educational institutions in the construction field.
