K76 Students in International Business at UTT Explore Modern Logistics Operations

In order to strengthen the connection between theory and practice, and to provide students with exposure to real working environments in logistics and international business, the Division of International Business – Faculty of Management, University of Transport Technology (UTT), organized a company visit and experiential learning program for K76 students majoring in International Business at Thang Long Logistics Service Joint Stock Company (TLL), Hung Yen Province.

At the program, the delegation of lecturers and students received a warm and professional welcome from TLL. Mr. Nguyễn Văn Tư – Director of the Company, along with representatives of the management board and specialized departments, directly engaged with participants and shared practical insights into logistics operations, warehouse management models, and the company’s development orientation in the context of international integration. Representing the University were Dr. Nguyễn Hùng Cường – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Management, who led the delegation; leaders of the Division of International Business; faculty members; 66 K76 students majoring in International Business; and representatives of the Executive Board and core members of the UTT International Business Club (IBC).

At the company, students had the opportunity to visit a large-scale warehouse system, including general warehouses, cold storage, and frozen storage facilities operated under modern standards. They also learned about integrated logistics chain operations, covering goods storage, transportation and distribution, value-added services (VAS), and customs declaration procedures.

Notably, direct exposure to warehouse management systems (WMS) and strict operational standards in logistics enabled students to gain a clearer understanding of how enterprises organize, control, and optimize supply chains in practice.

Within the program, representatives of TLL shared valuable practical information about business operations, logistics industry trends, and the knowledge, skills, and professional attitudes required for human resources in this field. These insights not only helped students better understand the nature of the profession but also provided concrete guidance for their academic and career development.

The field trip offered students an opportunity to consolidate professional knowledge, connect theory with practice, and develop professional thinking, as well as observation and analytical skills in a real working environment. As a result, students were able to better envision job positions and requirements in the fields of international business and logistics.

The activity was supported by lecturers of the Division of International Business, the active participation of the UTT International Business Club (IBC), and strong collaboration from the enterprise, contributing to an effective connection between the University, students, and businesses.

This program is one of the practical activities reflecting UTT’s practice-oriented training approach, aiming to enhance the quality of human resources to meet labor market demands in the context of global economic integration.
