UTT Student Team Wins First Prize at the International ReVoice25 Hackathon

At the ReVoice25 Hackathon, organized by the Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics (MTUCI), Russian Federation, the student team from the University of Transport Technology (UTT) achieved an outstanding performance, winning First Prize after surpassing numerous teams from universities and research groups around the world.

The UTT team comprised students Vũ Mạnh Chiến, Trần Bảo Anh, Phan Văn Tùng, Bùi Hiền Trang (Class 73DCHT21) and Đinh Hoàng Đức (Class 74DCHT23) from the Faculty of Information Technology, under the direct academic supervision of Dr. Đỗ Bảo Sơn and Dr. Dương Xuân Núi, lecturers of the Faculty of Information Technology. Previously, the team had also earned Third Place in the Attack & Defense category at the international cybersecurity competition Moscow Capture The Flag (M*CTF).

The ReVoice25 Hackathon was conducted in a hands-on hackathon format, bringing together teams from international higher education institutions and research groups to address advanced challenges in speech quality enhancement and restoration, applying modern audio signal processing and artificial intelligence techniques.

Demonstrating strong capabilities in handling real-world datasets, innovative algorithmic thinking, and a rigorous scientific problem-solving approach, the UTT team achieved the highest overall score and was awarded First Prize, leaving a clear professional mark in the field of speech processing.

This achievement further affirms the quality of training and strategic orientation toward key technological fields at the University of Transport Technology, while also highlighting the international integration capacity and academic competitiveness of UTT students in prestigious global technology and innovation arenas.
