UTT and Liuzhou City Vocational College Strengthen Cooperation in Automotive Technology Training
On July 8, the University of Transport Technology (UTT) held a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement with Liuzhou City Vocational College (China). The event aims to promote the “China–Vietnam Automotive Vocational Training Cooperation Program” in the coming period.

Attending the signing ceremony on UTT’s side were Dr. Trần Hà Thanh – Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyễn Quang Anh – Director of the Institute of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering; and Dr. Vũ Trung Hiếu – Deputy Director of the Office of Science, Technology and International Cooperation. Representing Liuzhou City Vocational College were Mr. Liu Hongbo – Vice Principal; Mr. Qin Jingling – Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical, Electrical and Automotive Engineering; Ms. Wang Yuan – Head of International Cooperation, School of International Education, along with faculty members.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Trần Hà Thanh emphasized that the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding marks the beginning of a comprehensive cooperation framework between the two institutions, contributing to a solid foundation for the advancement of vocational education, particularly in automotive technology—a field with high demand for quality human resources. The collaboration also represents a concrete step in UTT’s strategy for internationalizing its training programs.

According to the Memorandum of Understanding, the two sides commit to fostering equitable and mutually beneficial cooperation, with the goal of enhancing training quality and developing highly skilled technicians in the automotive sector. Key areas of collaboration include: organizing professional development programs for lecturers in Vietnam; supporting the establishment of practical training facilities; jointly developing training programs, curricula, and teaching materials; and implementing “order-based classes” tailored to enterprise needs, thereby strengthening the link between training activities and the labor market. The Memorandum of Understanding is valid for five years and may be extended upon mutual agreement.
